ANARCHISM & ANARCHISM IN WALES PLUS THE SEIGE ON SIDNEY STREET DECEMBER 1910 - JANUARY 1911.

......My connection, well this is rather stretching it but Cayo had a Mauser C96 aka 'Peter The Painter' in his FWA Armory, nice gun! Those were the days but to be honest just as well the police put a stop to us as it was all well on its way to getting out of hand? A 'Terrible Buety' being born in Caernarfon is one thing but might it all have eventually ended up as ugly as many incidents in armed political struggles where Freedom Fighters do become 'Terrorists'. To my mind easy to define the difference is when the target becomes civilians and that equally applies to standing armies and airforces as it does to political groups and worse Religious Fanatics. I still stand back from total commitment to pacifism as if push comes to shove, these days I would not advocate fighting or dieing for Country and certainly not for 'Y Crachach' but there might be other reasons? As in fantasy What If? Alternative History Fiction as in my ASSYRIAN ROD:

A Footnote: Re Ammanford's 'White House', an idea why not an annual gathering of Anarchists living in Wales and comrades from abroad. A gathering for Education, political and otherwise with talks on Anarchist History and advance of Anarchist ideas and Initiatives in Wales. Quite a Revolutionary place Ammanford, ideally suited for such a gathering:
