The Forgotten is a cutting edge music theatre about the chartist uprising ...
www.newport.ac.uk/education/profile/events/.../Background.aspx- CachedThus far there has been Stage presentations of the Merthyr Rising 1831, Llanidloes 1839, Rhyfel y Sias Bach 1826, The Rebecca Riots 1848, Tonypandy 1910 and on the horizon Llanelli 1911. After the above, may I suggest the Amlwch Revolt 1817 and the Battle of Cinder Hill 1830 also what about the Mold Riots 1868, then why is Edward Morgan and Tarw Scotch so much a forgotten history? Great Stuff! Remembering past Working Class history on the stage and in musicals is a much needed way of keeping alive memories of peoples struggles. Much needed as well however, is some Red Street Theatre and Living History Reenactment, if interested note below:RED REMEMBRANCER: 1831 ALIVE: Living History Interpretation Society

Work carried out as much in the work place and community as places of Academia.G.Gruffydd.
