Much Information on the 1935 Stay Down Strikes
is scatterd accross the web, so I will have to gather
material together and do a seperate post. Neither can
I find any ref to any 75th Anniversary Commemorations
in this connection, pretty bad if there is none? This could be
put right in October, as in that month in 1935 there took place
one of the major Stay Down Protests, taking place at Nine Mile Point
Colliery when 162 miners 'Stayed Down' for 177 hours, see link below:
