First let me draw attention to two new developmemts in my on going campaign to get 'one and all' radical about the Vyrnwy Land Grab 'Sell Off, getting as theoretically practical as I can with all my prevailing limitations not least pressing on my mind the 'School Holidays'. I have Grand Children to indulge with some of my time and it's near overdue that I do so. They quite enjoy the time with me, getting a 'Political Education' untill I start repeating myself and they have to remind me ''Tadcu you have told us that!'' (getting old?) , though they cannot get enough of 'Dressing Up In the Green!' and going out into the woods and mountains playing at being 'Gwerin Owain Outlaws'. Suffice, I add to what I say therein that this 'Welsh Highlander School' should also take aboard theoretical and practical themes as study of the 'Welsh Contemporary Condition' regards problems of the day as they relate to Radical Politics and Protest Post Devolution & Post Colonialism into a new age of Neo - Colonialism !

It will I hope also lead to greater unity between radicals who might have different priorities as 'Social Patriots' as myself who put the matter of 'Welsh Independence' as a priority, not all the time but I am not prepared to set it aside completly as some be they 'Socialists' or 'Cultural Nationalists'. Although increasingly personally I am more and more becoming overtly concerned with the condition of oppressed 'Indigenouse peoples' world wide.

The above in mind, of course the proposed 'Welsh Highlander School' other than inviting 'Guest Speakers' as notable 'Political Activists' as our own, out of the 'Radical Left' of Wales but such as Ian Bone of Class War as example. We could also invite 'Guest Speakers' representing 'International Struggles' and the struggles of 'Indigenouse Peoples. However, a main secondary purpose of this proposed 'Welsh Highlander School' would be to take a 'Radical left Revisionist' look at Welsh History. To which I will briefly add now, this. Much is made in 'Crachach' Interpretation of our history by virtue of fact that one finds an almost 'Respectable Rebecca Revolt' this is because so many of 'Y Crachach' have roots in rural Cymru. Viewing their history as one that makes of their 'Class' the 'Heroes of their Cymru', not wishing to know anything of an history that is radically persued in books as the 'Rural Revolt That Failed' by David. A. Petty.To this 'Crachach Crowd' it is looking back to a Victorian Wales that counts, a Cymru/Wales of successful 'Welsh Speaking Capitalists' as D.A. Thomas and Educators as Hugh Owen, not least political leaders of Cymru Fydd as Lloyd George. They would see the 'Tithe Wars' in a similar fashion. Even today, 'Y Crachach' censor history to make of their 'Class' contemporay heroes as example the 'Three David's';

to justify their existence as the 'Noveau Riche' new ruling elite aka 'Y Crachach' - England's CLient Tribe in Wales, in post Devolution Wales. However, Establishment Education does not teach of the 'Wobblies', nor much else but 'Crachach Cymru' Educationalists as well as the 'Welsh 'Intellectual/Intelligensia' Establishment are really some thing else. First full of 'B*******! and then a load of 'Sanctimonious Hypocracy', they really are! I could give loads of examples there but just one will do their 'Psuedo Radicalism' that can go along with a FREE PALESTINE but not perhaps a FREE PATAGONIA for the native 'Indigenouse Peoples'. Other than of course a FREE 'CRACHACH' PONTCANNA or have they now become so rich on back of the 'Welsh Language Industry' thay are removing themselves to 'Bontfaen' aka Gowbridge, so I have been told, any truth in it?

However, the 'Tradional Welsh Left' can be as bad, for as 'Y Crachach' in aspects of 'Selective Amnesia', for they too are prone too, to Remember Hugh Williams and Not Dai Cantwr, Dic Penderyn and not Lewis Lewis. Although it is Iawn! to Remember John Frost and Chartism but not Edward Morgan and the 'Tarw Scotch', Tonypandy 1910 and Llanelli 1911 but the Miners Strike 1984 - 85 is not so popular in New Labour Circles nor the 'British Establisment'. For the most part Welsh 'Contemporary Cultural Nationalists' Remember 'The 1936 Penyberth Three' but not the '1969 Abergele Martyrs' and of course this 'Crachach Cultural Nationalism' will repeat endlessly 'Cofia Dreweryn' but not remember Owain Williams and the 'Boys From Gwent', an hard working Farmer and two working class lads.

As for John Jenkins and Mudiad Amdiffyn Cymru or even the mostly 'Famers and Workers' FREE WALES ARMY, yes! wish we had took the advice of a certain little known 'Welsh Anarchist' and become a 'Welsh Citizens Army'. To conclude for now as PII is in the Seven Rivers Project blog before next week I hope? 1848 is a pretty key date in Welsh History, not least as far as Welsh Nationalists of every description are concerned but how many know, that whilst this year throughout Europe was the 'Year of Revolutions', the attempt at such in Merthyr was just not going to 'Occur' as 'Back in the Day' then, as that that was one Welsh town that had enough of any kind of Revolt, Rebellion or even Resistence to capitalist tyrrany and oppression, for a little while that is? Our history tells us much then about 'The Blue Books', an iconic flag up! for later 19th Century 'Cultural Nationalism' down to the present day 'WELSH NOT!' and all that?
