.Red Resurgence Cymru advocates and promotes Socialist Agit - Prop Action! Campaigns and Struggles in Wales in support of all 'Brothers and Sisters of the Ox' and the 'Wretched of the Earth' at Home and Abroad. We follow on from Cymru Goch I in a progressive left Socialist Libertarian Tradition. I shall also be taking aboard for further inspiration 'Class War' I shall seeks also to advance 'CRACH WAR' against the old establishment 'Taffia' and YCrachach Newydd - England's Neo Colonial Client Tribe in Wales. We seek inspiration from many popular peoples struggles abroad and of our own past, as the first popular revolt in Wales in 1294 against colonialism, ethnic cleansing of native Cymry. Including taxes forced upon the people by the Statutes of Rhuddlan 1284 and conscription to fight against the Scots. In such tradition I am mindful of Glyndwr's 'Barefoot Welsh Doggies', the peasant foot soldiers of the 1400 - 1421 'War of National Liberation' and later the Gwerin Owain Welsh Outlaw Resistance of the 15th & 16th Centuries. Not least I am mindful of the call of 'Trech Gwlad Nag Arglwydd' of popular struggle against enclosures in the 16th century. Enclosures which prevailed up and into the 18th century, the most infamous of which is that of Rhyfel y Sais Back in Ceredigion, that lasted a number of years up to 1826.
.
Adfywiad Goch looks back to these earlier popular revolts and that of Rebecca and , the Merthyr Rising of 1831, Newport Rising 1839 to the Tonypandy Riots 1910 and Llanelli Riots 1911 up to the last great Miners strike of 1984 - 85. Not least we look back to a much rather forgotten workers rebellion in Gwent, that of the 'Tarw Scotch' aka 'Scotch Cattle' whose struggle it is though began in 1816 or 1822 with major 'Tarw Scotch' disturbances between 1832 to 1835 when they came to an end with the trial one of their leaders Edward Morgan, hung at Monmouth Goal on 6 Apil 1835. But this was not the end of the Scotch Cattle, as they rose up again this time in the Aberdare area in the 1850's and, it appears had become more violent with use of 'Black Powder bombs'. I focus attention on the 'Tarw Scotch' for the reason that this year is the 175th anniversary of the hanging of Edward Morgan and, so an ideal occasion to launch a campaign to see Edward Morgan be given a posthumous award to declare his innocence of ''murder'' ( I shall enlarge on this in further posts ).
